Want to help - but not ready to adopt? Foster!

If you're not ready to adopt, consider being a foster parent. Fosters help the rescue by taking physical custody of one or more furry fellows/ladies and caring for them in their home until a forever home can be found.

Being a foster parent lets you experience the joys of helping to save little lives without the financial commitment. The rescue will set you up with everything you need to make a home for the little ones, including food, bedding, etc. We’ll be here to help with any questions and can even provide foster care training. All you need to provide is love (awwwww).

If your foster rodent needs medical care, that will also be covered by the rescue. We would prefer that you take them to Dr. Kamaka at Kamaka Exotic Animal Veterinary Services or Dr. Holly Carter at Evergreen Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital . These vets are good friends of the rescue and provide excellent care.

Please contact us if you’d like to foster.
